Statement of Mission
To reduce or remove the desire for abortion across Chicago's Southland. PASS network of life-affirming care assists and empowers the greater Southland communities by providing a network of valuable, practical, and confidential care through Prevention, Crisis, Intervention, Housing, and Restoration programs and services.

Governing Values
By God's design, sexual intimacy is to be shared only through the marriage covenant of a man and a woman.
Therefore, abstinence until marriage is our message.
God is the creator and sustainer of human life.
Therefore, sustaining human life is our message.
Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Therefore, restoring the broken hearted is our message.
Freely we receive, freely we give.
Therefore, no client is charged for our services.
Statements of Purpose
BYLAWS; ARTICLE II
The woman who experiences an unwanted pregnancy has four basic alternatives to consider: abortion, adoption, foster care, or parenting. Because there could be anxious moments and unhappy days ahead with any of these options, it is of the utmost importance that she clearly understands what each of these alternatives involves.
Therefore, the purpose of PASS pregnancy care centers is to help a pregnant woman who is in a state of crisis to understand and work through the alternatives, enabling her to make an informed decision concerning the outcome of her pregnancy. Further, PASS seeks to provide counsel to all parties experiencing a crisis produced by an unwanted pregnancy. For the woman who decides to carry her baby to term, the center will provide emergency aid in whatever form is needed and available. The aim is to help restore the woman to a normal level of coping, or to help her move from the state of crisis to a state of empowerment and restored control of her life.
PASS freely acknowledges to the client, and to the community, that it places value upon all human life, from conception onward. As an alternative, abortion ends human life prematurely and unnaturally. Therefore, abortion is an unacceptable alternative. However, PASS does not exist to convert people to its position on human life. Each woman is responsible for her own decision, and is accurately provided with information about the alternative ways of coping with a pregnancy.
PASS is a Christian response to the needs of women confronted with crisis pregnancies. In presenting the love of Christ through its ministry,
PASS never discriminates because of race, creed, color, national origin, age, or marital status. The assistance provided to any woman shall be without charge.
Statements of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and that this salvation is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good works.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they are saved unto the resurrection of life and that they are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
